Make your custom labels

For my cousins birthday I made a jar of pancake mix. I wanted to add something fun to the boring jar and made a custom sticker! I saw this sticker making trick a long time ago somewhere on the internet. It is super easy. All you need is packing tape, a laser printer, paper and water. Read on to find out how to make these.

You start of by printing your desired sticker design with maximum width or height of the packing tape (50 mm). In this case I created a pancake mix sticker for my cousin Jo-Ann.

Make sure you use a laser printer, otherwise it won’t work. Print more of your designs on one page in case you mess up sticking the tape on.

This is the sticker I want to make, next step is to stick your packing tape on top of the design. With scissors cut the unnecessary paper around the sticker.

Wet the paper with water and start rubbing it. The paper will start to flake off.

Keep doing it!

Your almost done, the laser printed parts will stick on the tape. Don’t worry to rub too hard. Keep rubbing the paper off until the paper is all gone.

Let your sticker dry completely before sticking it on to your object of choice.

Good luck with making stickers for your own jars and other things!
