Weekend tasting: Sadaharu Aoki

By on 21.09.14

One of the chefs I work with asked me if I tried Sadaharu Aoki. Sadly I had to answer with a no, not yet. He told me the tarte au caramel salé is really good. So off I went, to get that tart!

So the tarte au caramel salé has a sweet dough crust, salted caramel, and a milk chocolate mousse on top. Very good. €5

I also bought Ginza, a strawberry, raspberry and hisbiscus cake. Nice and fresh taste, like it. €5,30

Stopped at Champs de Mars to sit down and enjoy the cakes. Both cakes were not too sweet, very light in texture and overall very yummy. A good recommendation!

Oh and the other day I bought this pâte à tartiner (bread spread).

It’s like Nutella, but a more intense hazelnut flavor! Normally it’s €8, but it was on sale so I couldn’t leave it there for €4 lol. It’s really yummy, next weekend I’ll go get a croissant to eat with it.
