Weekend tasting: Aoki again

I was checking out the new Gourmet section in the Galeries Lafayette. And because I liked Aoki quite a lot the other weekend, I decided to try something again! I chose the half sphere Citron Praliné this time.

So I like the flavor combination and the general taste, but there was something about the texture of the mousse that I didn’t like. It had a slightly powdery mouthfeel. The mousse is a lemon and white chocolate mousse, probably the white chocolate made it this way.

The new gourmet section at Lafayette is nice! It features various pastry shops, some speciality foods (spanish ham, foie gras, dim sum snacks) and also a Pret A Manger. Great stop for some food while shopping.
